researched several shop management software programs
before selecting R.O.Writer Shop Management Software
to replace their aging systems.

user friendly, up to date and could interface with
their parts vendors. They recognized interfacing with
their online parts suppliers using Smart eCat would
increase point of sale productivity with their service
advisors and get the repair orders approved and parts

Dear Eric Hafley
This eMail today is to offer a big "Thank
You!" for the year end offer of adding the RO
Writer Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and The
Back Office modules year end promotion. I've
known of this product for a long time and did not
think these modules could help. We use
Peachtree as our accounting system and did not see
the need to blend in he books with a point of sale
program. It only took our bookkeeper an
average of 53 minutes per day to enter all the
invoices, payment types, discounts and not make any
errors. It seemed like a good value giving the
books out once a week and the monthly billing was
not too bad.
Now, we have an ability to get our data at her home
via the Back Office, eliminated the need for
invoices to go back and forth and the daily drill
now takes 3 minutes per day. This has become
simply amazing how quickly and easily we were able
to transition using the modules. The savings tremendous.
It took three months to recover the cost of the
conversion and I can now throw an extra thousand
bucks a month in the bank not wasted in unneeded
redundant costs.
Knowing what I do now, I
would have done the conversion years ago
and put the extra money saved right into my vacation
fund. I want to be mad at someone for
not forcing me to look at what I am doing years ago.
We did ours near the end of the month and found by
the following 15th, we were not only caught up on
all accounting loose ends, but could feel the
savings right away.
Thanks again for helping streamline our point
of sale as every dollar really counts today and
the easier we can make this, the less headaches
along the way.
